About AdvancED

AdvancED is the largest community of education professionals in the world. It is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that conducts rigorous, on-site external reviews of PreK-12 schools and school systems to ensure that all learners realize their full potential. While our expertise is grounded in more than a hundred years of work in school accreditation, AdvancED is far from a typical accrediting agency. There goal isn’t to certify that schools are good enough. Rather, there commitment is to help schools improve.

Combining the knowledge and expertise of a research institute, the skills of a management consulting firm and the passion of a grassroots movement for educational change, AdvancED serve as a trusted partner to 32,000 schools and school systems—employing more than four million educators and enrolling more than 20 million students—across the United States and 70 other nations.

Accreditation

Rand International School has taken the candidacy for accreditation five years ago from an international accrediting agency, AdvancED whose goal is to help us be successful in making sure all aspects of our school meet the highest international standards of quality.
This non-profit organization has helped our school improve an all aspects with respect to purpose and direction, governance and leadership, teaching and assessing, resources and support systems and using results for continuous improvement.
The AdvanceEd Accreditation Process represents the unified accreditation process for the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) in the USA. As a school seeking to earn and maintain NCA CASI or SACS CASI accreditation we are following the AdvanceED Accreditation Process.
Our School is committed to being a quality school in all areas. The AdvanceEd Accreditation Process is providing us with the comprehensive framework for continually improving student learning and school effectiveness.
To take the accreditation for quality in education, this organization sends a team of representatives to check all aspects of the school and decide whether the school is ready to meet its standards or it needs more improvement. Based on this information the team visits Rand international schools on January 5, 2013 and we got the accreditation for quality in education.
